Over 50 Russian occupiers eliminated, ammunition depots hit in southern Ukraine

On July 11, 2022, the Ukrainian military eliminated over 50 Russian occupiers and hit ammunition depots in southern Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook.

Ukraine’s attack aircrafts struck enemy ammunition depots near Mykolaiv Region’s Snihurivka and Liubymivka three times. Ukrainian helicopters fired at Russia’s fortified strong point near Pravdyne and rashists’ positions around Oleksandrivka. The enemy’s losses are yet to be checked.

Ukraine’s rocket and artillery units destroyed 52 Russian occupiers, Msta-B howitzer, mortar system, seven armored and motor vehicles, as well as an enemy ammunition depot in Nova Kakhovka.

In southern Ukraine, Russian troops continue to follow artillery and mortar shelling tactics, launch air and missile strikes on the rear positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements all over the contact line.

In particular, in the morning, a pair of Russian Ka-52 helicopters struck near Zarichne, Kherson Region. No losses were reported. Three times during the day, they also fired missiles at Odesa Region, having hit a detached civilian house, port infrastructure facilities, fields and agricultural lands. No casualties were reported.

In the afternoon, an enemy aircraft fired a Kh-59 missile at Bereznehuvate. The missile exploded in the air. No casualties or destructions were reported.

When conducting supplementary reconnaissance in the district bordering with liberated village of Potiomkine, the Ukrainian military found the military equipment and ammunition, which were fully operational but abandoned by Russians, namely: one Т-72B3 tank, two BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, one BMD-2K infantry fighting vehicle and one BTR-D armored personnel carrier.

Meanwhile, Russia’s naval group in the Black Sea remained unchanged. It continues to struggle against the storm, blockade civil shipping and pose a threat of 16 missile strikes.
