The updated OpenVINO adds a broader selection of deep learning models, enhances device portability, and boosts inferencing performance with minimal code changes. These improvements are designed to support novel deployment scenarios while the automatic optimization feature assesses the system's compute and accelerators, dynamically enhancing AI parallelism and load balance based on available compute and memory capacity.
OpenVINO is grounded in oneAPI, an open standard providing a unified application programming interface across various compute accelerator architectures, including GPUs, AI accelerators, and field-programmable gate arrays. OpenVINO is already employed by notable Intel clients like Hitachi, BMW Group, ADLINK, and American Tower, demonstrating its reliability and versatility.
